Don't trust the Doc!!! Get them strapped!!

I broke mine last year play fighting with a mate fell onto a big marquee tent peg rib first ; )

1.5 years later and I now have a knuckle sticking out from my ribs (basically looks like a finger knuckle pointing outwards from the right hand side of my rib cage.

It hurts when i surf, hurts when i lay on my stomache on anything hard and when i first did it i'm sure it did damage to my stomache muscles....

Basically the bone healed but not back in place.

Friends told me that back in the day when Mummy was young they used to strap things around your ribs to allow them to heal correctly....

Get this checked now as once they heal it's a pain to get them re-broken and alighned.

My doc didn't even get me to get a scan. He felt them, said yep you've broken them. His advice was rest and if it hurts don't do it..... ; ) He normally is a good Doctor and probably in most cases rest is all you need ?? not sure ....
