the shittest belaying i have seen was identical to the picture above, however the route was the famous grit stone route "masters edge E7 6C" at Millstone in England. the belayer was smoking and talking to some one when the climber was about to do the last hard move up high. He looked down , noticed his belayer, yelled some obscenity to him and then fortunatly stuck the move and powered to the top. all could of gone horridly wrong..
