I'd consider it totally normal, depending on your skin. Let it heal, try again, maybe stop earlier (as soon as you start to only hold on to jugs "with your skin" rather than finger strength), maybe cut down on steep climbing where you are more likely to lose skin when you get tired ...
if you continue to have problems after a few weeks - well, then it's getting difficult :-) but I am pretty sure it will get much better with time. |
