Fair point One Day Hero, we don't want bolts everywhere as knee-jerk reactions to climbing accidents. Climbers do need to accept that climbing is a potentially dangerous undertaking.....Darn gravity.
I think there are both pros and cons for bolting. And I think this will be a discussion that wil still be raging as long as people are climbing. I don't believe there is a right or wong position on the bolting issue.
I think someone else in the thread here said that if a climber doesn't like bolts they have to use them. Couldn't agree more. |
