I agree with the need for proper nutrition and recommend Natures Way (Insant Natural Protien). It's made from Soy and is 88% protien. You can buy it from the super market in the health food section and it's the most economical supplement I've found.

Just stick a few spoon fulls in a smoothy.
There's been suggestions about drinking water and this is very important. I wonder if you were getting dehydrated. Best thing is lots of water with electrolite. Best value for money is powder Staminaide. Don't mix it as strong as it says on the label, one spoonfull per litre is all that's needed.

If you don't like drinking water then mix it 50/50 with fruit juice or mix a week cordial to make tastey and will help you to drink more.

Too relax the mind before sleep you could try controlled breathing.
Start as breathing normal. Then slow down your breathing ryhthm. Slowly breath in, hold breath, then slowly breath out, hold breath. slowly breath in. Lengthen each inward breath, hold, out, and hold by 2 - 5 seconds longer each time ( count in your mind ) and think about being totally relaxed.

If you can steady your inward breath to take about 60 seconds then hold for 60, take 60 sec's to let out holding again for 60 and then do another cycle, you should be getting to fairly relaxed state of mind and body. Ready for sleep.

But then yogis and zen monks go far more relaxed than that and they have some realy realy weird dreams.

If your wakeing up exhausted from weird dreams, it's probably due to something from day to day life that's playing on your conscience. I'd recommend getting a book on Feng-Shui, that may inspire ways to balance the harmony.
