I had an open shoulder reconstruction about 10 years ago now. The pain in the week or so after the operation was excruciating. Having said that, I experienced little or no pain in the 7 or so dislocations I had that preceded it. Each time I dislocated it I put it back in the socket myself and one one or two occasions kept climbing. Horses for courses I suppose. |
