Previously covered here. I had it done about 9 years ago now. I wasn't insured, and it ended up costing me quite a bit, although I have no idea what it would cost now. Full recovery was about 6 months. I probably could have pushed it a little faster than that, but I felt that I was getting good advice from my physio at the time, and I followed it. A month after resuming climbing, I was climbing harder than before.
