I was on the buttress when the guy fell. I saw a guy running back to the Pines and soon an ambulance & rescue vehicles turned up.
When we got down and back to the pines we talked to the guy that was running for help. He and his partner were first on the scene.
I believe the guy was climbing Snowblind(?) with his wife.
Apparently he top roped it first with no falls but when leading it came off. He had three pieces in but the rock gave way and he decked from 12 metres up.
He was semiconscious with a nasty head wound and broken arm.
I haven't heard anything since, I was hoping to read here that he is ok.
