Reminds me of the 100's of shrines to car crashes on Greek mountainsides. As a child travelling in Greece on a long bus ride I took great glee in counting them. If this plaque thing gets really out of hand, we could just start plaque-counting on the way up routes. If you have trouble focussing, it could be good way to get in the zone....just as long as, in the same way as me as a child in Greece, you don't think too hard about the significance of these memorials.....
