we are doing a report for the Australian Accident Register right now - it'll go up in a day or two with full details - but briefly - the injury occurred when he was being lowered down a pitch (feeling unwell) when he paused on a ledge. the lowerers thought he was at the bottom so gave a little slack. when he stepped back he fell approx 3m due to the slack rope in the system and hit a lower ledge. There's more to it than this but I don't want to go into all the details until we've written the final report and checked a few things. Australian Accident Register www.accidentregister.info
