While many of the overhang top rope ropes at St Leonards use the pig tales, quick draws are still used for some of the steep climbs. Without seeing the AME wall, I suspect the difference is the location of the draws, at St Leonards they make the hooking up easier by not having the draws more than a arm length off the vertical of the previous draw and the always seem to be a convenient jug and large foot hold.
