hey. i see this about once or twice a week. bloody uncomfortable; i know, i have also had the same problem, last year being the most recent. always the 9th rib on the left for me. that said, it was the first time in about 6-7 years. osteos are best, of course. would you expect me to say something else?!!! it is easy to treat. not much advice i could give you without looking at it first, other than it is difficult to treat yourself. hope this helps julian
