Cheers SBM. I just went out to the gear shed and measured some of my accessory cord. What I was picturing in my mind as 6 was actually 8mm. I found some 6mm that I’d previously used in cordellettes. Scary, and having seen it again it’s really quite jarring to consider rapping on it. I tied up both and “rapped” each as a single. I was able to control the 8 fine with an atc style device but the 6mm was very difficult, and immediately apparent to me how ANYONE would get into trouble using this.
