Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced what happend to me today and if so whats the recommended healing?
Sport climbing and pulled a sic sketchy heel hook rockover mantle 3/4 up this 23. After pushing down with both hands and then standing up i noticed the two middle fingers in my left hand were like stuck pointing at my elbow and i couldnt straighten them. Also couldnt flex my wrist upwards. Had a wicked pain/ knot sensation in middle of forearm like i was pumped beyond repair but it wasnt normal place or feel of pump sensation. Kinda felt like i had an internal rope that was stopping me from extending my wrist/ fingers.
Immediately lowered and stopped climbing after that and gradually kept stretching it gently all day until i got back full range of movement without heaps of pain. Now its just sore/ tight and little pain at all.
Was warmed up and hadnt pulled anything heinous in terms of moves (technical and scary but not burly), perhaps a little dehydrated and tired from previous days but otherwise fine.
