Hello Lingy and Suzie,

Thank you so much for writing about your experience in the Dolomites. I hope all is well now physically and mentally. I also had an accident in the Dolomites last year in July, but nothing like yours. I was hit by rock fall, but luckily I was on the ground (next to a hiking track). I was packing up my rope bag and saying Ciao to the hikers walking by, but then suddenly out of nowhere a rock landed on my risk. Luckily nothing was broken and I got a few stitches (at the same hospital in Cortina). But the whole experience was a reminded to me how dangerous it can be in these areas and sometimes there is nothing you could have done to avoid the situation.
