Slightly off topic, kind-of, but a reminder to all that if you plan to lower a weighted second off an auto-block, such as a sling and pulley to release it, remember to use a friction knot such as a munter on the brake side, auto-block mode devices are on/off, once you release it second goes flying. Something I was thinking about on a long drive and then per chanced across an accident report on same. |
