It does sound to me more like a muscle balance related injury. From my understanding and in laymans terms ....

Do one activity for a few months or years, you'll build up muscles to do that activity, but you might not build up the "opposite" or "reverse" muscles, causing an inbalance between your muscle groups. When you do another activity relying more on the weaker muscle groups, those muscle groups will tire more quickly. An injury of this kind can be made worse when both the weaker and stronger muscle groups are used in combination as the stronger muscle groups cover up the tiredness of the weaker muscle groups.*

The tiredness is caused by micro tear in the muscles, what you've done is micro torn a muscle group or several, extensively, far more than you'd normally micro tear your more developed muscles groups. Micro tearing is normal and an important and necessary part of developing muscles, you've just over done it.

See a physio (or your prefered medical help) to get some treatment and some exercises that will help build the weaker muscles so your muscle groups are more balanced in the longer term.
