This sounds like a strange injury. I would have thought that it would be almost impossible to break a bone only by the loading that the muscles / ligaments around it can apply (well ive actually had a bone spur break off in my ankle, but thats very different to a bone breaking in half...).
Obviously it it possible!
If its any consollation, its probably easier to repair broken bones than tendons and muscles, so once you start back climbing, hopefully you will get back to 100% pretty quick. |
