Ok so most women in the western world are desperately trying to look like SBC or hot in a similar way for their colouring etc. And how many succeed? It's not realistic! This is a large portion of my problem with marketing of women's looks.

Very few women are try to look like (or do) what Alex does, hence it's not surprising that not many do ..

I've never said she wasn't a good climber. I said something along the lines of, she boulders way harder than I do and way harder than most climbers, although i'd be bored out of my brains bouldering indoors 90% if the time. She may not be elite, but she's perfectly bloody reasonable at it and I'm certainly not going to discourage women from doing physical stuff. I just wish we could escape the mantra that we have to be stereotypically beautiful as well and not the reality of women using their bodies getting ripped, dirty and sweaty or indeed just having fun. In fact, that we could get over the obsession with women being beautiful. Women are many other things too.
