Amazing area indeed...!

I did bump into one other Aussie at a restaurant on Saturday night, but he has a Chinese wife and was living somewhere in Yunnan... Wasn't there for very long (unfortunately), had a tight schedule so I started in ShangriLa, worked down through Tiger Leaping, and then to the festival for a day, and had to head back to Chengdu for work from Lijiang on the Sunday morning. You could easy spend time dirtbagging around there, it's got so much potential! Did the walk up to Thousand Turtle mountain on the Sun morning, that's got some wild rock formations going on...

Panorama shot I did from the top of the 'Turtle', there's some big, black streaked walls that you can't see from Liming on the right...
