I would recommend you bring your shoes and harness with you. Climbing shops in Australia are expensive and the prices of shoes and gear is very overpriced. If you plan on being here a while i'd even buy another pair before you came over. It is disgusting the mark up they put on product, they wonder why people come into shops to size up then purchase on the net. Ned Kelly is alive and terrorises the climbing community in Little Bourke St and Kent Street among other haunts throughout Australia.
