I climbed with an instructor years ago at Launceston Gorge; he was really good, and reasonably priced. I can't remember the name of the company, but there are many advertised on notices and brochures in touristy areas like youth hostels and visitor centres. You could contact the Tasmanian climbing association: http://www.tased.edu.au/tasonline/climbing/climbing.htm Or just turn up to the climbing gyms in Hobart or Launceston and ask around...Have you tried the yellow pages?
