I'm looking at hiring a guide for a day/weekend at either Arapiles or Grampians, probably in June as I won't be available until then. Looking for similar people starting out climbing who may be interested in sharing a guide (costs)....much cheaper for 2 people by about $100! I have climbed a little at Buffalo and Arapiles and do some indoor as well. Have tried to cajole my friends into climbing with me but they just smile at me blankly while their eyes glaze over...
Other than that I have joined the VCC but at the moment there doesn't seem to be any beginner courses coming up.
I'm keen to keep up the momentum and progress.....but feeling quietly frustrated at the same time.
