Im from the uk and in Melbourne for the next 3 months at least and am looking for people to climb with as i dont know any climbers here. My top-roping grade in england was about 5.10/ 5.11 (i think, ..im just converting it on the rockfax table) but i drop a bit when i trad or sports lead (which i love!). i use to climb outside loads in england and am keen to do outside stuff in aus but i dont have a car either or any of my rack as i am travelling, though brought my harness and very warn shoes. If anyone wants to meet up for a climb, my number is 0449886390
cheers, Helen

Hey Helen,
I'm climbing with a bunch of friends at the City Hardrock (and yes it does have heaps of spinning
holds) and then going out to dinner with them (about 12 or so). You are most welcome to join us if you
want an introduction to a bunch of friendly locals who can show you around some of the better cliffs on
offer in Vic.
PS we're off to the Grampians this weekend (Mt Rosea - home of some of the best multi-pitch
moderate (grades 15-21) climbing you'll find this side of Mt Arapiles). Bush camping close by. We
have about 19 people confirmed at this stage mainly leaving from the Northern suburbs and can fit you
in I'm sure.
either just turn up on WED @ the city Hardrock gym and ask for me or get in touch before if you
prefer.
Hope you enjoy climbing in VIC.
PS if you haven't found it yet the Australian Climbing Association is a good source for local guides/info
on some areas. http://www.climb.org.au/index.php?page
