Hey guys,

Stopping off in Thailland to get fit before heading to Oz for 6 months. Looking for people to climb with in usual areas.

Sport routes, Deep water soloing, partying.....

Email me or reply on forum!

Cheers guys

Give Chiang Mai some thought. It could have much better weather than the south at that time, though you need to play it by ear. When Chiang Mai floods, it really floods.

The North is really fabulous, ya just swim in the rivers instead of the sea to cool off. The south is fabulous too so I'd definitely recommend seeing both.

Hi All

Am heading to Chiang Mai on in 3 days time for 2 weeks.. My mate who I was going with has just had to pull out, due to an ill family member. But this means I can now fit in some climbing....

If anyone could give me a bit of advice about the climbing up north that'd be great. Also whether using guides is a good way to go (need someone to climb with..and i'm a bit of a bumbly)

Cheers

I had one free day in CM and rang up the climbing shop to see if I could get a guide for the day. They said no joy. However, it might be possible if you book ahead a bit.

They said they had a notice board for climbers to hook up which gets plenty of use so that might be worth checking out.

I wound up hiring a mountain bike that day and going down to Wiang Kum Kam. It was rad.
