If you believe the papers there's apparently a 1.7% vacancy rate at the moment here in the Inner West, the lowest for ages. It's taken some friends quite some time to find a nice place, but they're picky! And arrange a 9 day working fortnight with your new employer as soon as possible, and take every second wednesday off. Sneaky Mid-Weeky to the Mtns!!!!
