Hi there,

Weather forecasts are available at the link below. Look at the bottom of the page for the Horsham forecast. Horsham is approx a 25-30min drive from Arapiles. Current temperatures appear to be around 24 degrees celcius and fine.

The nearest proper supermarket to Arapiles is in Horsham. Coles or Safeway. Some supplies are available in Natimuk at the Milk Bar (pasta supplies and other such basic items).

If you are staying at Arapiles for a while, you may need to consider your food selections carefully since the weather will continue to heat up (we got a 47 degree day last summer!). In this regard, items such as cheap tarps for shade, and eskies to keep your food and drinks cool are a good idea. Trev's Bargain Emporium in Horsham is a good place to start looking for such items. A plastic tub to contain your food is always a good idea. It should take effort to open the tub. You don't want the local possums eating your stuff.

The climbing gear shop is in Natimuk (8km-ish from Arapiles).
