Warragul was the site of either Australia's first or second climbing gym. I've never been there, but I saw photos of it when I was living in Wonthaggi 20 years ago, and it was old then. I believe it was in a Scout hall, so you might want to get in touch with the local Scouts.

Also, there's reasonable climbing in Gippsland, but it ain't araps.
