Hi all.
I'm looking for climbing partner[s] in Sydney. From now really, I guess.
I'm recovering from a bit of a back and shoulder problem and from being fat and lazy for too many years, meaning I've not climbed much for ages. Used to lead 20-22 sport and limited trad, spent years skiing and climbing in the NZ mtns before said laziness after I moved to Sydney.
I've seen the error of my ways and I'm going stir crazy without climbing.
I want to focus mostly on mid week gym climbing over the next couple of months to get some easy milage in while slowly rebuilding climbing fitness and grades. The odd trip outside is nice, but my main focus is regular low grade milage for now. Of course the big advantage of gym climbing for this is I can do my easy routes and belay you on whatever grades you want/need.
I'm happy to climb in St Peters, St Leonards or Villawood, so not too fussy where. It'll need to be in the evenings from about the 5th of Jan, but can be almost any time until then.
