Hi guys,

I'm a Melbournian who's coming home after a couple of years living in France. I'll be in Melb from the beginning of the year and looking for climbing partners. I'd love to find some people to climb with regularly indoors as well as outdoors.

I haven't been outside in a while, but for the first six months this year I was outside pretty much every day leading sports routes up to French 6b+ (and comfortable between 5c and 6a+ depending on the exposure). I guess that translates to 20ish in Australian grades?

I have no experience with trad (well, a handful of climbs seconding a trad multipitch and playing around with my mate's gear), but I'm happy to learn. I've already gone and ordered a basic rack.

As for equipment, I've got an 80m rope (and a 50m), a dozen express, slings and a handful of locking carabiners. Everything you need for a long French limestone wall or multipitch basically. I've also got a car, crashpad and I'll have plenty of time until uni starts in late Feb/March.

So, anyone keen to climb with me? :D
