The trip to IF is going ahead.
More people have shown an interest than there are likely spots on the trip.
You are one of those and I have the chronological order in which they arrived.
I now need you confirm that you will join the trip, if a place is available to you.
The places will be filled in chronological order of expressed interest that are confirmed by 3/2/05. I chose this date because it is my birthday and it gives you about a couple of weeks to think about it.

Details of the trip are as follows and your confirmation will act as agreement to accept the conditions stated and implied in the details.

The 12 seater plane will leave Tooradin at 9am on Thursday 24/3/05 arrive Lady Barron 10:20 am and return to Tooradin 6:20pm Monday 28/3/05, Leave Lady Barron 5pm.

Thursday will be all travelling, shopping and sight seeing, there will be no climbing.

Weather permitting, we will climb Friday to Monday early afternoon, we have to be at Whitemark by 4pm to swap buses and get down to Lady Barron by 5pm.

Gear to be taken with us is restricted by air safety regulations. There is a baggage limit of 15kg per person on the plane.

I weighed my climbing pack at 12kg, so we need to plan. A meeting of participants will be held before the trip to determine the number of ropes, racks etc will be taken by whom. I estimate individual climbing gear Helmet (Compulsory), harness, crabs/belay etc to be 2.2kg, a 10mm rope 4.5kg and a rack 4.5kg.

We will have 9 beds in the house one bedroom with a double bed and a single. Two bedrooms with 3 singles (very squeezy). Three people will be on mats(we have to take in) in the lounge. Beds will be allocated as per chronological order of expression of interest. (I am happy Ben and Heather were early taking care of the double bed).

Evening meals will be prepared on a communal basis ie some participants will cook one big meal for 12 people. We will organise who does what when at the previously mentioned meeting. The food and drink for the trip will be bought on the Island and I will book all items, in case they are not available or run out. I particular we need to order hot cross buns from the bakery, as they do not bake a whole lot on spec.

This is an official club trip so all trip rules apply, in particular helmets.

Cost will be $350 to cover basic plane, house and bus. Additional costs for food and petrol to be shared equally. Drink to be bought individually on the island.

On the 4th Feb I will request deposit of $100 From the top 12 and let others know they are on standby by
Deposits to be received by 11/2/05.
On 12/2/05 I will let standbys know if vacancies are available and go through as many iterations as required to fill the places.
