G'day all,

Just a quick plug for this Thursday nights VCC meeting.

Kevin Lindorff will be doing a talk & slide show about his experiences on climbing in Victoria. Having been involved in the sport (more than three decades), focusing a little on some of the personalities, some of the 'significant moments' and what seem to me to be the stages of evolution of the sport here. All of this no doubt coloured by his own experiences and some 'memorable moments'.

Mal Haskins from NZ will be doing a talk & slide show on: Aspects of NZ Mountaineering, Safety, Search & rescue, & Exploration.
Info and strategies on how to go climbing in NZ, what to expect. How Search and Rescue operates in NZ. Also new routes and new areas being explored.

The talks are being held at 8.00 PM Thursday the 25th Nov, at the Australian Gemmological Association 380-382 Spencer Street, Melbourne.
