Hi all.
Moved up to Canberra from Melb and am looking for some regular climbing crew. A crag or gym session a few nights a week and weekend jaunts.
Into all climbing and climb around:
20-21 sport
15-16 trad (I hear the granite around here is the nuts...)
V4+ bouldering
But I mostly climb just to get out, have fun, talk shit and get scared so happy to do whatever.
Full trad rack (well, bar micro cams and some bits and bobs), 70m rope, wheels and can give you any sort of catch you like.
Super keen/will provide to lollies.

Heya Simo_tele,
There are a couple options, it just depends on your situation. Either the ANU mountaineering society (more of a student thing but open to social climbers),
http://anumc.anu.edu.au
Or the Canberra Climbers Association (they have a few open days but don't publicly post too many of their climbing trips),
http://www.canberraclimbing.org.au/home.aspx
Or you can come along on tuesdays at the northside climbing gym were a bunch of us meet up for a casual indoor climb each week.
It's all organised on the web, casual and open to all:
http://www.meetup.com/Canberra-SCUBA/events/104817702/
But with the addition of free lollies I'm sure you're going to be flooded with offers.

cheers for the links.
Checking out ANU tonight. Already have stuff on tomorrow but will come up to Mitchell next tuesday for sure.
Ry...I would have traded you at least 3 packs of lollies for the Lumbing van (and crash pad).

If your under 30 go the ANU.
Next best option is to go to the library wall on a weekday evening. Tues-Thur 5:30 till 7 are best. You may even score a free beer in addition to an invite to go climbing.
