For your (brief) stay in Sydney, you could sample some of the climbing in the Blue Mountains, or to the south in Nowra. A lot more opportunities for sport climbing - F6a is about an Aus 19. (VS is the Aus 14-16 range for when you get to Arapiles). Only negative about climbing is Aus is the occasionally oppressive heat. Just need to seek out a crag that avoids the afternoon sunshine. Enjoy Arapiles. Haven't made it there myself yet, though it's on the cards for this Easter.
