Hopefully someone doing a day trip out of Melbourne will reply to this post. Our little crew climbs every 2nd weekend or so, and it could be that you might tag along with us, but we rarely get anything planned until a day or two beforehand. Other than that, you're next best bet would be to post a similar message on the VCC noticeboard. And as a last resort, troll around one of the gyms (there are 4 or 5 of them) and offer belay slave duties to the Werribee Gorge regulars, if you can find them. Hint: try asking anyone with draws on their harness.

Alternatively, give Ben Wright an email about getting in on the planned VCC trip to Mt Arapiles during the weekend of March 8th-10th. I doubt they'd make you join the club just to attend, but there might be some kind of visitors fee.
