Might be worth someone with the skills and knowledge having a look at putting a bolt or two and a fixed rope on the the little steep root downclimb section (think its the bit above the downclimb hole).??
This part seems the dodgiest to me when I've been down there, lots of loose dirt and roots to get down...
I'm amazed with the sport climbing thats going on down there recently that there isn't one already. Isn't it standard practice in the Blueys to put a fixed rope on the grade 2 exit gully, even though the new routes people are climbing are in the mid-high 20's? |
