The route we did on the Sphinx seems to get a fair bit of traffic now and most of the rock was really good. (It has been soloed in under 2 hours). I had 3 topos from various sources which were all a bit different, but we seemed to be right on the route up to the end of pitch 10. Nice variable climbing and the icky offwidth section had 3 bolts and wasnt very long. After that we got into some harder than advertised sections thanks to Marty who seemed to have difficulty telling 5.7 from 5.11 moves, managed to get back on route, and once darkness fell I have no idea. We think we must have climbed pretty much to the summit whereas other parties seem to traverse off closer to the descent route. There are quite a few other established lines on the Sphinx, and the whole Paron valley has massive granite walls either side with only a couple of shorter routes climbed.
