The double-rope rating is for a 55kg load on one strand, the single-rope rating for an 80kg load on one strand and the twin-rope rating for an 80kg load on two strands. I.e. the impact force will increase from 8kN to 9.2kN if two ropes are clipped into the same piece of pro instead of only one rope.
