I did a shite load of climbing as well - i think 13 pitches worth over two days. Inspector Gadget was awesome - really great adventure climbing and super exposed. It isn't nearly as reachy as Kent made it out to be. HB even found a closer hold to Kent's lower super reach sequence. The little arete went ok - i blew a footbold on my first try - and the first bolt is WAY too high off the ground. It went at 22/23ish and is called Donky Kong Junior. kent reckons he will add another bolt lower down. Your crazy traverse boulder problem looked good.

13 pitches of climbing... Nice work!! I just checked out your crag account, you were a busy bee... Kent made bob solo up to that first bolt before he placed it, then he did it in his runners, it was quite scary to watch. Initialy he thought it was going to be 19/20....
I like the work you guys have done at the tower, next trip out there im keen to jump on terror of the sea looks amazing and not too hard appart from that crazy match in the middle. And speaking of high bolts, that seccond bolt on terror of the sea is a LONG way up, the climbing is pretty easy but its a little intimidating....

That traverse was a kewl problem, only thing was it had a v6 finish move which made it a little annoying...

I used to place a big cam in the horizontal just below the second bolt on Terror. Makes the move much saner to get into a clippignstance. I have it so wired these days i don't bother and just do the 6m runout. Kent and my mission for The Tower was to create a mini Taipan - a good place to train before getting on the big thing. That is why there are runouts and spaced trad gear!

Hey Neil, I've been considering the EOS 300 lately (especially after having a play with a friends 10D, lucky bastard). Your latest batch of photos look great, nice work. I was just wondering how many of those you used the 'default' lens with (the one you get with the EOS pro pack I'm assuming you grabbed) - I'm trying to get a feel for how versatile it is as I suspect if I do stretch to buying the EOS300 I'm not going to buy any new lenses for a little while.

Basically I like the EOS for it's features, but don't have an existing collection of lenses for it and am curious what you thought of the lens that osmes with it.

About half of the pics are taken with a fairly large telephoto (100-300mm).
