Hey Capt, a few month ago Steve and I had a few hours to spare and headed to The Bank. It use to be 100m or so off to the left of the track. We wasted heaps of time looking for it and eventually realised that the walking track had been re-aligned since the 2003 bushfires, and it wasn't just the thick regrowth. Instead of continuing our search, we spat the dummy and got a single climb in at Gibraltar Falls.
The topo is in the current ed of ACT Granite (blue).
Count me in on any future trips to Square Rock & McKeahnie. |
