Back from a great weekend at Bogong. Never been before but was very similar to Scottish winter climbing. Even had some nice plastic snow/ice in places. Climbed DJ happy pants, a left variant of deep throat with an exit onto the couloir, and a finish up slippery slide. Skied the big gully which was pretty tight in two sections but good snow, then over the back and a last run down the front face. Brilliant.

Awesome! I can't belive you managed to find some of our routes using our dodgy descriptions! It looks
about a million times better than our trip up there a month ago.

I could be up for it next weekend actually. If my climbing partner had not bailed would be up there this weekend! so going to Buller with Jono and Neil. Are you up for it Paul?

If Gemma's parents don't end up coming down then yes, definately...no otherwise, I'll let you and Neil know. I'm planning 'something' over the weekend of the 4th August and would be super keen to head to Bogong over that weekend.

nice work evan! was planning on doing some adventuring over on bogong this winter we have been looking at it from falls! looks great. good on you mate very inspiring photos. greenehands
