The pic on page 280 says:' a young glen tempest on the FFA of Ralph the Snail, Glen Tempest Collection'. Have a look and ask yourself if it even looks like Ralph to you!

Supersonic is featureless but seemed really easy to pad up compared to other granite slabs like the Yangs, so that's the thinking with the 17. It's totally clean now.

Well Phil, freeing Ralph was a great effort, it's a scary route, takes courage and is a real thriller...presumably you gave it the original one star that I bumped up to two after leading it with Simon Reed four years back. There aren't many do-or-die routes that need grade 20 slabbing and jamming skills near the eastern suburbs.

I was up there this week: hot and a lot of flies, but much cooler than the valley.

Might go back and change that colour scheme, then!
