climbing alot in Eskdale in the english lakes district.
small county called cumbria, there is loads of different types of rock here with mainly trad multi and single pitch, some sport on the sea cliffs at st bees head with some nice sandstone boulders. loads of other bouldering to
scotland just up the road with the same sort of stuff
the peak district etc not far south, dont forget yorkshire just to the east.
england is full of climbing where ever you go, some times people have to adventurous and make do (like the sandstone and rock down in the south west, very worn, over climbed, damaged and also chemically teated against erosion), but its still rock.
there is quite abit of DWS in the south and a couple of islands off of cornwall/devon area which give some good stuff.
