Was up there last week, doing some intro mountaineering stuff with some mates. The amount of traffic
up bungalow generally negates the need for snow shoes, however with fresh snow or an approach via
razorback I would take skis/snowshoes.
Axe & Crampons are useful, as it is a waste to travel that far and not be able to summit. We needed
them 2 days out of 4. East face was good climbing with aretes in good nick, stable snow pack and small
cornices. Be very, very cautious.
