Just to throw my 2c into the fray... I either give my new routes a single star or none at all. The 1 star simply means it's worth doing 1st before doing the ones without any stars...simple really, but then again, Pilot and the other short granite things in the NE of Vicco hardly rates when compared with the Blueys or Gramps. Perhaps then, the single star system for NE Vic granite could be therefore construed as relating to a route where the rock is not going to fall apart under your feet :-D
