I'm currently living in the Philippines (Manila), I can give you the lowdown. There's a bunch of limestone crags scattered around and a bit of bouldering. El Nido in Palawan could be a mecca for deep water soloing (kind of like Halong Bay in Vietnam), largely undeveloped as yet - some photos here: http://malacama.multiply.com/photos/album/27 Are you going there sometime soon?
