Climbing in the Snow

G'day.
I'm moving to the snow soon (living in Smiggins) and want to keep up the climbing. 2 questions.

Are there any particularly good spots down there?

Is anyone else moving that way soon that would been keen for a climb from time to time?

I'm hoping to at least find something to keep up the practice. I don't want my girlfriend kicking my arse when I get back. Might be stuck with a hang board.

I think there will be SFA nearby that is easily accessible in winter. There are odds and sods of local climbing though, with a few newer bolted routes in the last 10 years. Bludge some ice gear and play at Blue Lake.

I'd ask in the toyshops (Wilderness Sports and Paddy's).

I think there is an indoor climbing wall at the AIS just out of Jindy if things get desperate.
