| I just returned from a rampage at Castle hill, and can officially report Flock Hill CLOSED! Disasterous as it is, the Dept. of Conservation are in negotiations from what I was able to pick up while there. A couple of Norwegian climbers were so upset by the closure that they rang the land owner and pleaded, he didn't budge. The tragedy is, we were driving past flock hill every day to and from the boulder fields... it was taunting us every time. Looks fabulous. Definitely heading back again.... |
