Not sure about now in terms of sending stuff around.

We went through there several years ago and simply got visa in Beijing. I believe they have a Kyrgyz embassy in Thaliand which would save this (they can normally do an express visa in a day or so). There used to be on in Vladivostok also but this may be too far afield fro you.

Either way, you only really need a visa for the first one that you visit - you should be able to get a visa for the next country express in a day or so or after a few days wait if you want to pay less (unless it has all changed beyond recognition). We found our way across from China to Turkey this way.

If time is really limited and you don't want to wait "in-country", you may have to go through the hassle of posting your passport about.
