But it does make me laugh when people whinge about public transport. I went without a car for last three years, relying on PT to get me to the crag, to work everyday, pretty much everywhere. In that time I found it very reliable and not just on a few routes, but across the network ( for example, various crags spread across from Sutherland to the North Shore, regular trips from Gosford to Rooty Hill to the animal quarantine)
To give another example, the train I catch everyday has only every been cancelled about 3 times in that period and even theres always another a couple of minutes later if it is. Contrast this to when I lived in London and my train would be cancelled every week.
I know there are some blackspots but to write off the whole system is just daft.
The people that complain don't know what side their breads buttered - If you want to see really shit public transport, move to London for a few years. It'll seem like paradise when you come back.
